Audio Visual Technician (Conferences and Events) 5 Star Hotel in the CBD Audio Visual Dynamics provides a complete audio-visual solution servicing the hotel and conference venue market. For the past 33 years, we have worked closely with a wide range of corporate and industry partners, delivering the highest level of service within our venue partner locations. Your new role As an experienced AV Venue Technician you will be responsible for setting up, testing and managing all technical elements of a client's AV requirements at the venue. You will work closely with the sales team and/or Technical Directors, understanding the client contract for the event, big or small, delivering exactly as required to ensure a successful event. You will use your passion for engaging with the clients to meet their expectations, and where possible, exceed these. Your key duties of this role include: Deliver the technical elements of each event, on time as per standards specified in the client contract Operate Audio, Vision and Lighting equipment for large and small live events, conferences and meetings Optimise client service through contributions to the technical team and provide technical support to clients Support the activities of the Sales teams by providing high levels of service and supporting client relationship and customer service activities Be a team player – work with the AVD team and venue teams to ensure client satisfaction and resolve problems should they arise Ideally you will have: Technical AV skills with demonstrated experience in live and corporate and/or relevant qualifications. Proven experience in digital and analogue Allen & Heath audio mixers and other brands Proven Experience in Roland & Barco vision mixers. Proven Experience in programmable lighting consoles such as Grand MA series is an advantage Experience in VMix & Resolume Arena Software is an advantage Experience in modular LED display panels and controls is an advantage. Experience in hospitality is an advantage Experience in HDMI, DVI, & SDI signal over Ethernet or Fibre. Well presented, strong customer service ethic and a genuine desire to deliver what you promise Ability to develop relationships with customers, your team, peers and managers Intermediate computer skills, presentation software such MS PowerPoint, VLC Media Player and Online Video Conferencing software. Ability to organise your time efficiently, work to deadlines Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
