Corporate AV Concierge / On-Site AV Support Technician Full Time About Xcite AV Xcite Audio Visual is a nationwide, Australian-owned company with a reputation for excellence. The Role We are seeking a polished, reliable and technically-minded Corporate AV Concierge / On-Site AV Support Technician to be embedded full-time at one of our major corporate clients in Sydney. This role is the frontline of the client's AV experience. You will be responsible for providing immediate technical support, assisting users, preparing meeting spaces, ensuring all AV systems are operating flawlessly, and maintaining an up-to-date asset register. You will become the client’s trusted AV contact—proactive, organized, and calm under pressure. Key Duties & Responsibilities Daily AV Support & Concierge Activities Provide immediate, on-the-spot technical assistance for meetings, VC calls and events. Prepare, test and reset meeting rooms before and after use. Support users with MS Teams, Zoom, Webex, BYOD and in-room VC systems. Troubleshoot AV issues such as audio dropouts, display issues, network connectivity, control panel faults, camera problems, etc. Escalate issues to Xcite AV’s remote Service Team or vendors when required. Technical Operations Perform routine preventative maintenance and daily room checks. Log, track and document all incidents, resolutions and follow-up actions. Update and manage AV asset registers, including serial numbers, firmware versions, warranty info and lifecycle status. Assist with firmware updates, minor configuration changes and hardware swaps. Ensure AV spaces are tidy, functional and in line with corporate standards. Client Engagement & Communication Act as the on-site AV “go-to”, representing Xcite AV with professionalism and confidence. Work closely with internal stakeholders, facilities teams and IT to coordinate solutions. Provide clear, friendly and proactive communication to end-users. Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements. Experience Required Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on Audio Visual or IT support experience. Strong understanding of cameras, microphones, DSPs, touch panels, switchers and VC platforms. Experience in corporate AV support, concierge desks or customer‑facing technical roles is highly regarded. Exceptional communication skills and a polished professional presence. Excellent troubleshooting, time management and organizational ability. Familiarity with asset management or ticketing systems. Current Driver’s Licence.
