Human Resources Operations Lead
for Australia, you are a strong self-starter, who thrives working within a demanding, fast paced global environment, whilst managing competing priorities.Job responsibilities:Lead the HR Operations team (4) to ensure smooth, timely and accurate deliverySupport tax and year end activities where required e.g. salary packaging, payroll tax etc.Monitor services delivered by Corporate Center teams such as payroll and benefits delivery, directing and ensuring they are delivered to agreed service levels and compliant with local regulation.Partner closely with the Australia HR lead and APAC HR Operations Management team delivering priority items for a first class employee experienceReview operational processes with a primary focus on controleffectiveness, streamlining and removing duplication of effortAccountability for meeting country policy and regulatory change with efficient operations e.g. changing time keeping regulations and partnering with global teams to deliverDevelop thorough understanding of location legislative environment in order to provide technical expertise and advice to the stakeholders, including HR.Co-ordinate all internal & external audits.Identify opportunities to improve operational execution, articulate the business requirement and implement the solutionAct as the SME for all Products and Services delivered in location.Develop andfacilitate relationships with key clients, business partners and/or vendors.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Excellent interpersonal, organization and communications (both verbal and written) skillsExcellent Client Relationship skills; ability to identify, build and maintain relationships both within HR and externally to deliver successBackground in Australia payroll and employment regulationStrong risk and internal control mindset, and risk management experienceStrong communication skillsStrong ownership and accountability of people, process, financial, and strategyStrong process management mindset with the ability to influence outcomesStrong analytical and problem solving skills; solution orientated thinker who is able to perceive issues from a Client’s perspectiveSelf Starter; ability to resolve day-to-day issues effectivelyTeam player with ability to work in a small team cohesivelyMinimum 10 years’ experience in managing HR or complex operationsPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:Preferred understanding of employment tax and year end processesAutomation or exposure to automation tools preferredExperience with collaborating and working with offshore teamsProject management experience would be an advantageBachelor’s or Master’s Degree
