At Jetpets our core focus is pet travel, customer service and welfare. Our team of pet-loving experts transport pets both domestically and overseas to reunite pets with their families year-round. We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Casual Pet Handler / Driver to join our team in Sydney specifically to focus on early evening support throughout the work week and weekend work is involved. This role Pet Handler / Driver must be able to demonstrate behaviours that align with a culture reflecting these values. The successful applicant will be responsible for pet handling, driving and crate building. This position is based in our Sydney Transit Lounge with the requirement to go between our Jetpets facility, the airport and client properties for deliveries and collections. Skills and experience A love of animals and professional animal handling experience is essential A professional customer service-orientated approach to work A full drivers licence and safe driving record - probationary drivers will not be considered Confidence and experience driving long hauls (where required) Ability to work autonomously when required Ability to work flexible hours A strong and professional work ethic and excellent attention to detail Additionally, you will have an energetic and positive nature and enjoy working as part of a highly motivated team Capable to look after the animals within our care with some lifting involved If you don't think you meet all the requirements but have other outstanding attributes, Jetpets would still love to hear from you.
