About the Role The College is seeking applicants with experience in residential care or education for the term-time role of Residential Leader to commence in 2026. This might be a role ideally suited to a former teacher who enjoys working with young people but is looking for a role without the requirements of marking. The Residential Leader works as a key member of the Boarding Team in delivering safe, professional, and nurturing residential care for our boarding students. The role holder ensures the safety and wellbeing of boarding students as well as the effective management of residential staff, during duty shifts. Salary and entitlements The salary for the role is $105,000 per annum, plus superannuation, with accommodation arrangements to be negotiated (accommodation options may include: onsite single units, College provided rental accommodation or accommodation allowance). Meals are provided during term time as required. What we are looking for The role holder is required to model high standards of care, professionalism and compliance, and respond to issues as they emerge. As well as possessing emotional and cultural intelligence and strong communication skills, the role holder is required to oversee adherence to all compliance and attendance processes and behavioural standards, whilst maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
