Base pay range A$150,000.00/yr - A$220,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Business Review Group Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist | Defence & Government We are recruiting Project Costing Specialists at Level 2 and Level 3 to support a major Defence manufacturing and capability program based in Canberra. These roles sit within a specialist Defence cost modelling function and contribute to the development, assurance and reporting of cost models that underpin investment decisions, budget planning and financial governance. Depending on experience, candidates will either support or lead structured cost modelling activities in a complex, high-profile Defence environment. NV1 Required Full-time roles Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Defence cost models using approved costing tools (ACEIT, CTT) Conduct financial and cost analysis to support program planning and investment decisions Coordinate with stakeholders across Defence, engineering and program teams to gather and validate inputs Prepare briefing packs, reports, meeting minutes and decision-support documentation Support cost modelling forums, committees and governance processes Level 3 responsibilities include: Leading cost model development and assurance Performing risk, contingency and sensitivity analysis Providing program-level financial projections and expenditure analysis Supporting budget development and investment submissions About You You are an analytical professional with experience in project costing, financial modelling or cost analysis, ideally within Defence, Government, infrastructure or capital-intensive programs. A Level 2 analyst with strong modelling fundamentals looking to deepen Defence experience, or A Level 3 specialist with proven experience leading cost models and supporting senior decision-makers. NV1 Australian Government security clearance (current) Ability to work on-site in Canberra at least 3 days per week Experience commensurate with a Level 2 or Level 3 costing / financial role Experience using Defence costing tools such as ACEIT or CTT Highly Desirable Background in Defence, Government, infrastructure, manufacturing or capital programs Qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or Engineering Additional Information This role may require access to U.S. export-controlled material.
