Community Engagement Worker (Youth)- Saturdays Team Connect works with young women from government schools across Perth and engages them into community sport. With the support of the schools, the young women are referred onto programme and are then coached and mentored into playing seasonal cricket at junior club level across Perth. We have had seven very successful seasons and are looking for volunteers to support the fun No cricket skills are needed, but a desire to want to volunteer with young people and families is very important. You will be working in partnership with other volunteers, school staff, club volunteers and family members. We are currently looking for volunteers to support between October 2025 and March 2026. We support schools in the Gosnell's, Thornlie, Balcatta, Mirrabooka, Southern River, Swan, Dianella, Armadale and Kwinana areas. Category Young People Commitment Regular - more than 6 months Type Of Work Education & Training Sport & Physical Activity Tutoring & Coaching Time Required Saturday morning 7.30 – 10.30. Starts October, a six week break in December and January and then from February to end of March. Training Online induction and face to face training with Volunteer Manager.
