Level : 6.1 Status : Permanent Full Time Overview Tangentyere Council delivers a range of Youth, Family & Community Safety (YFCS) services across Town Camps and Alice Springs, supporting children, young people, families, and communities through the delivery of daytime and after‑hours services focused on recreation, diversion, out‑of‑home care, community safety and family support programs. The Youth Employment Pathways (YEP) program is a new initiative that will develop 12 roles within the YFCS Division for young people aged 15‑25 years, living in the Remote Employment Service area (Region 23) in Alice Springs. The program aims to support young people entering the workforce by learning and developing core workplace skills, receiving on‑the‑job training, and gaining relevant certifications to work in the community and youth services sector. Responsibilities Design, implement and oversee the YEP Program in collaboration with the Strategic Projects and Practice Lead (SPPL) and the YFCS Leadership Team. Develop program components including promotion, participant supervision and high‑quality delivery aligned to TCAC and YFCS values, policies, and procedures. Foster partnerships across YFCS and TCAC programs and support YEP employees in their development and employment journey. Provide flexibility and after‑hours support for YEP employees, including participation on a rotating 7‑day on‑call roster. Ensure duty of care is upheld; report any abuse concerns in line with council policies. Qualifications Strong leadership, communication and mentoring skills, with experience in staff development and training. Experience in coaching, mentoring, training, and staff development. Commitment to trauma‑informed and strengths‑based practices, working in culturally safe and appropriate ways. Ability to foster partnerships across programs and contribute to sustainable employment outcomes. Suitable applicants may be appointed prior to the closing date. #J-18808-Ljbffr
