How you can help make a better world of work Culture Amp is growing its tax team We are looking to add a Tax Analyst role based in Melbourne, Australia. This is a hybrid position, where you will be expected to work from the office 2 days a week. This role is part of a fast‑growing company that is looking for someone that is highly motivated and willing to grow along with us. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of professional experience, covering Australian tax, with experience in international taxes a plus. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with various direct and indirect tax lodgements, keeping up to date with tax law changes, and helping evaluate tax positions and assessments that may impact the business, in addition to working closely with the financial accounting team to ensure the accuracy of tax related balances in the general ledger. As part of this team of amazing humans, You will Assist with coordination and review of Australian tax filings; including annual ITR, FBT, and GST lodgments Support and review international lodgements and payment Assist in the preparation of and review of indirect taxes Prepare Monthly reconciliations Prepare tax workpapers and assist with ad‑hoc tax projects as necessary Assist in the preparation of the tax provision and assessment of deferred taxes Maintain and prepare regular transfer pricing adjustments Assist in coordination with various internal and external parties to ensure timely and accurate deliverables You are Able to work autonomously and proactively communicate, adapting to different time zones to ensure effective collaboration. Able to communicate complex tax situations and solutions clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. A proactive and highly organized individual, capable of working in a fast‑paced environment and possessing strong time management skills, allowing you to effectively juggle diverse responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities. Detail‑oriented and meticulous, able to quickly identify anomalies and validate data accuracy using reconciliations and cross‑checks. Willing to embrace new challenges and responsibilities as they emerge, demonstrating a "roll up your sleeves" attitude to ensure successful completion and contribute effectively to the team's objectives. You have 3+ years experience in tax, with exposure to multiple jurisdictions. Experience working in hyper‑growth environments, consistently delivering accurate and timely results.Demonstrated ability to learn and assess new tax requirements and communicate changes effectively. Experience in maintaining strong internal control frameworks to ensure accurate and reliable documentation. Proficiency in NetSuite, Excel, and Google Sheets. Experience with Avalara and Bloomberg Tax is a plus. We believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our success.
