About the role: 2 x roles available - Fixed Term Full Time 31st July 2026 The Principal Policy Adviser, Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) role will advise implementation plan development and consumer engagement in response to the Rapid Review of Assisted Reproductive Technology and In Vitro Fertilisation Regulation and Accreditation in Australia (the Review). These are nationally significant projects with Victoria leading the implementation planning and consumer engagement projects for States and Territories as supported by the Health Ministers. The position will work both as part of a team, with responsibility for leading key streams of work, and independently.The role seeks high performing individuals with strong with implementation planning, project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Specialist skills in health systems, analytics, government processes, legislation, stakeholder consultation, policy design, or program implementation are desirable. The role would be suited to individuals who are comfortable working with unfamiliar and complex issues and with a range of internal and external stakeholders. About you: A tertiary qualification in fields related to public health, public policy or health administration would be desirable. Applicants with a tertiary qualification in other fields but with work experience in the above fields and experience in use of evidence, data analytics and visualisation or economic analysis would also be considered suitable. Significant knowledge and experience in government, health systems and/or health service delivery would be desirable, with skills and experience in policy development and implementation.
