Area Manager

Summit Homes Group is seeking an experienced and driven Area Manager to join our New Homes Construction team. As an Area Manager, you’ll take ownership of multiple new home construction sites within your allocated region, leading and mentoring a team of Site Supervisors to deliver high-quality builds on time, within budget, and to Summit’s renowned standards. In this role, you’ll work closely with your Construction Manager and internal stakeholders to drive construction performance, streamline processes, and build strong relationships with trades and suppliers. Your ability to plan, problem-solve, and lead with people at the centre of your decisions will be key to your success. About You You’re a natural leader with hands‑on experience in residential new home construction. You understand the demands of building from the ground up and know how to guide your team through challenges with confidence, care, and attention to detail. You’re solutions‑focused, highly organised, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Your strengths lie in coordinating people, managing timelines, and keeping quality, safety, and client satisfaction front of mind throughout every stage of the build. You’ll also bring: Previous experience as an Area Manager or Senior Site Supervisor in new home construction Strong technical knowledge of building practices and WHS standards Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead high‑performing teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A commitment to continuous improvement and customer excellence What we offer We believe in providing the best work environment for our staff.
