The Opportunity As our Investor Operations Manager, your key responsibility is to lead and manage the Investor Operations team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of investor transactions. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational excellence, enhancing investor experience, and supporting strategic initiatives across the Asset Management division. You will have a key focus on delivering excellence in customer experience. The ability to self-manage will be integral to the role as is your ability to motivate the team and enhance both processes and procedures. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing transaction operations team of 14 staff members, including a team leader and senior team members. Set clear performance objectives and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Manage resource allocation and workflow to meet service level agreements (SLAs). Operational Oversight: Oversee daily processing of investor transactions including applications, redemptions, transfers, and distributions. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. Monitor and report on operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Process Improvement & Projects: Drive automation and efficiency initiatives within transaction operations. Lead or contribute to operational projects, system upgrades, and regulatory change implementations. Maintain and update SOPs and training materials. About You Minimum of five (5) years’ leadership experience, including leader of leaders. Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business or related discipline. Experience in leading teams through change due to growth. Exposure to transformation programs and industry best practices. Proven experience in investor operations or fund administration, ideally within asset management or financial services. Strong understanding of transaction processing, registry systems, and compliance frameworks. Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of team development and performance management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in relevant systems and tools (e.g., registry platforms, CRM, Excel). Ability to make decisions and build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders. Entrepreneurial drive and focus on growing business in a way that maintains our good reputation.
