This permanent full-time role is part of NSW Ambulance within the NSW Health system and supports Executive Projects through project management and governance capabilities. About the Opportunity The Project Officer, PMO will be a key member of a centralised PMO, providing project management and governance support to facilitate consistent and high-quality project delivery. The PMO will establish and maintain standardised project management and change practices, ensure compliance with methodologies, and align project objectives with organizational strategic goals. It will also provide governance to maximise delivery outcomes and deliver performance reporting to Executives, including progress, risks, and issues. It will partner with the organisation to enable project management and change leadership to maximise value from Executive Projects. Key Responsibilities Provide project management and governance support to NSW Ambulance Executives’ Projects. Introduce and maintain standardised project management and change practices. Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and align projects with strategic goals. Provide performance reporting to Executives with line of sight to progress, risks, and issues. Partner with the organisation to enable project management and change leadership to maximise value. About You You are a confident, driven, highly organised project management professional. You have the ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels, influence, build trust and collaborative partnerships. You have experience managing projects with a solid understanding of project management principles, preferably with PMO experience. You have experience guiding, training, and providing insights to support delivery of project outcomes and value. You have a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to navigate complexity, problem solve, and support change.
