Energy Strategy Senior Consultant – Commercial Due Diligence We are seeking an Energy Strategy Senior Consultant based in Sydney to deliver transaction-led energy strategy and commercial due diligence across the energy and infrastructure sectors. This role focuses on supporting investors, developers, and corporates through acquisition and investment decisions, providing clear strategic and commercial advice alongside financial, legal, and technical advisors. The Senior Consultant will play a key role in evaluating strategic fit, value creation opportunities, and commercial risks across renewable energy, networks, and energy transition platforms. Responsibilities: Deliver buy-side commercial due diligence for energy and infrastructure investments (M&A-adjacent, non-execution) Assess strategic rationale, asset positioning, and platform growth opportunities Evaluate revenue models, cost structures, contracting frameworks, and key commercial risks Support investment committees with clear, decision-ready insights and recommendations Develop transaction-focused strategy outputs, including market entry, portfolio strategy, and value creation plans Work alongside financial, legal, and technical advisors through transaction processes Produce high-quality, client-ready reports and presentations for senior stakeholders Required Experience: Proven experience in commercial due diligence or transaction-led strategy within the energy or infrastructure sector Strong understanding of energy industry value chains and commercial structures Experience supporting acquisition, investment, or platform strategy decisions Ability to distil complex strategic and commercial issues into concise, decision-relevant advice Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exposure to investor and executive audiences Qualifications: Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline Background in strategy consulting, energy advisory, infrastructure investing, or Commercial due diligence highly regarded. #J-18808-Ljbffr
