Assistant Venue Manager

This is a full-time Assistant Venue Manager role based in Mindarie, WA 6030. You will be joining the team at The Marina Mindarie , working alongside the Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the vibrant hospitality venue. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career in venue management within the growing Hospitality and Tourism industry. We are currently seeking to fill two Assistant Venue Manager positions. One at The Boat , and the other at Indian Ocean Brewing Co . What you’ll be doing Assist the Venue Manager in leading and supervising the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver exceptional customer service Oversee the preparation and execution of events, functions and daily operations Manage and maintain venue rosters, budgets and financial reporting Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, licenses and health and safety standards Support the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies Contribute to the continuous improvement of venue operations and procedures Deputise for the Venue Manager in their absence What we’re looking for Proven experience in a similar venue management or hospitality supervisory role Strong leadership, communication and people management skills Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities Sound financial management and reporting skills Knowledge of relevant regulations, licenses and compliance requirements Proficient in the use of venue and event management software Tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Business Management or a related field is preferred What we offer At The Marina Mindarie, we are committed to providing a supportive, collaborative and fulfilling work environment.
