Are you a skilled Safety and Environment professional? Are you experienced in coaching, mentoring and leading to positively influence and improve the safety of work?Wagners is a globally recognised, publicly listed company who can offer secure long-term employment and future career advancement opportunities.Based in Brisbane, this role plays a vital function for the success of Wagners various operations by facilitating positive Health, Safety and Environmental outcomes.Duties will include:Influence positive health, safety, and environmental change in the workplaceDevelop strong working relationships to coach and motivate positive safety and environmental outcomesAssist with identification, development & delivery of mandatory training and competency requirementsProvide advice, consultation, monitoring and governance for effective risk control and complianceManage, monitor, and develop the relevant Management SystemsFacilitate audits and inspections in accordance with legislative and Company requirementsMaintain a sound knowledge of current legislation, policies, guidelines, and standards requirementsOffice and field work across multiple locationsTravel to regional sites monthly – fly and/or driveThe successful applicant will possess the following:5+ years’ experience in a similar role desirableTertiary qualifications or Diploma of WHS minimumExtensive experience in managing Health, Safety and Environmental risks and complianceProficiency working with QSE management systems & ISO standardsExperience in operations involving heavy plant, vehicles, and equipmentCertificate IV in Training and Assessment desirableGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong capability using Microsoft office suiteJoin a company with a strong safety cultureTraining, coaching, guidanceAttractive remunerationBe part of a Globally recognised companyAbout UsWagner’s is an award winning and diversified Australian Construction materials and services provider and innovator of Construction Materials and New Generation Building Materials.
