In this role, you'll: Join the NSW Trains’ Safety Performance team and this role will see you support the Senior Manager Safety Performance in the development of coach related safety assurance procedures, undertake coach operator related safety assurance activities in compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law and any other relevant frameworks. You will also implement an effective coach safety assurance program across the coach operations and develop a comprehensive safety assurance framework tailored to coach operations ensuring that safety reporting obligations to NSW TrainLink stakeholders are met. This highly collaborative role will also see you deliver consistent, accurate and timely safety assurance reports to multiple stakeholders with different requirements. This fixed term opportunity is for up to 10 months. For further information on this position, view the role description and info pack here. About you You will be an experienced Safety or Audit professional, highly versed in developing and implementing a safety assurance framework with a thorough understanding of safety systems and risk-based auditing within a heavy vehicle industry environment. With highly developed communication and collaboration skills, you will be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to gather information, prepare reports and manage communications to meet deadlines. In addition, you will bring highly developed analytical capabilities, an investigative mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
