The Roles: We are seeking motivated Height Safety Installers and Rope Access Technicians to join our growing operations team. These are hands‑on, field‑based roles responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of height safety systems and rope access works across SHA project sites. You will work across a broad range of structures — including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, transport infrastructure, and heritage sites — while upholding SHA’s standards of safety, quality, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Height Safety Installations Installing Kattsafe systems such as anchor points, static lines, guardrails, ladders, walkways, and platforms. Reading and interpreting construction drawings, installation guides, and work instructions. Marking out installation locations on roofs, façades, and structural surfaces. Using power tools, drills, riveters, and fixings to install components to manufacturer specifications. Conducting system testing, tagging, and completing installation documentation. Rope Access Work Performing rope access tasks in accordance with IRATA ICOP and site‑specific procedures. Conducting visual inspections, basic maintenance, and access‑based tasks on façades, roofs, and structures. Rigging, rope setup, equipment checks, and safe system implementation. Supporting height safety, remedial, and auditing teams as required. General Duties Ensuring all work complies with Australian Standards, WHS legislation, and SHA quality procedures. Maintaining tools, equipment, and PPE in safe and serviceable condition. Liaising with supervisors, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery. Upholding SHA’s commitment to safety, teamwork, and high performance. Qualifications & Experience: Experience in construction, rope access, or a related trade environment. Strong safety mindset and positive team attitude. White Card (Construction Induction). Working at Heights (WAH) – current. Confined Space Entry – current. EWP Yellow Card. High‑Risk Licence – EWP over 11m. IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 certification. Experience in height safety installations and/or rope access operations.
