Overview Cleaners on Ropes Pty Ltd is a specialist rope access company delivering high-quality façade maintenance, waterproofing, painting, and inspection services across commercial and residential buildings. Safety, precision, and attention to detail are at the core of our operations. Role We are seeking an experienced Rope Access Painter to join our team. This role combines traditional painting and surface preparation skills with industrial rope access techniques, allowing access to hard-to-reach areas safely and effectively. Key Responsibilities Setting up safe access systems (rope access, ladders, or scaffolding) and using protective drop sheets to safeguard adjacent surfaces. Preparing building façades by stripping old paint, filling cracks/holes, smoothing, and sealing surfaces. Mixing paints, varnishes, and stains to match required colours and finishes. Applying coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment while suspended via rope access. Installing and finishing wallpaper, including pattern alignment and edge trimming when required. Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of painting equipment and work areas. Carrying out minor repairs, including window repairs and glass replacement in timber or metal frames. Qualifications & Experience Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent trade qualification). Proven painting experience, ideally in commercial or high-rise environments. Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint systems, and application techniques. Ability to work safely at heights and follow WHS procedures. White Card (Construction Induction) – required. Experience with façade maintenance, waterproofing, or building repairs is highly regarded. Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good physical fitness and comfort working at heights. Commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary range: $76,000 – $80,000 (depending on experience and skills). Opportunities for training and career development in rope access and building maintenance.
