Are you an inspiring sales leader ready to shape and grow the sales function in a premium events environment? Reporting to the CEO, this is an exciting opportunity to lead a developing sales team, define strategy and drive commercial growth across a portfolio of high‑profile venues, hosting a diverse range of events from corporate functions and galas to fundraisers and private celebrations. You’ll be recognised for your ability to inspire and motivate people, while identifying and implementing commercial opportunities that drive increased sales, profitability and market presence. Working closely with Marketing, Operations and the exec team, you’ll align strategies, optimise performance and deliver exceptional client outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared success Drive strategic growth across all event types, across multiple high‑profile venues, including corporate events, fundraisers, galas and private celebrations Identify, develop, and implement new revenue streams to expand the business beyond traditional bookings Own sales targets and revenue outcomes, while identifying new commercial opportunities Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners Lead by example in client engagement, negotiation, and business development Collaborate with executive team to shape the broader business strategy About You Proven success in senior B2B sales roles, with a track record of achieving targets and driving growth Exceptional leadership, coaching and people management skills Strong commercial acumen, negotiation expertise and strategic thinking A network of contacts in corporate, government, or hospitality sectors is highly desirable Ability to lead with influence, inspire teams and engage confidently with executive leadership Experience in client‑focused industries, including events, hospitality, real estate, or luxury services Why Join Us This is a rare opportunity to join an executive team and take ownership of the sales strategy for a premium, high‑profile venue business.
