Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

Your role as the Enrolled Nurse will work with the Registered Nurse (RN) as part of the health care team and demonstrates competence in the provision of person-centred care. Core practice generally requires the EN to work under the direct or indirect supervision of the RN. At all times, the Enrolled Nurse retains responsibility for his/her actions and remains accountable in providing delegated nursing care, provision of safe patient care provision of care activities to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse specific to service need.
This role will see you to contribute to collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required and communicate effectively with patients and other health care team members in accordance with appropriate protocol.

What you will bring to the role:
- Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute nursing
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
- Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible roster
