Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
An opportunity is now available for Enrolled Nurse to join our Acute Aged Care team, located at Nepean Hospital in a Permanent Part time position, working a 7 day rotating roster.
Your role as the Enrolled Nurse will see you work collaboratively with relevant members of the multidisciplinary health team in the planning, implementation, assessment and evaluation of nursing care within the service. You will demonstrate competence in the provision of patient-centred care as specified by the Nurses’ & Midwives Board licence to practice, educational preparation and context of care.
This position will work under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, in which will see you implementing planned care to individuals, carers and their families, with the aim of maintaining and/or improving their health. You will work with a dedicated team that will allow you to meet the needs of staff, patients and their families whilst working in a diverse team demonstrating CORE values whilst providing exceptional person-centered care.

What you will bring to the role:
- Currently registered as a division 2 Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
- Effective communication skills written and verbal
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of Occupational Health & Safety in the workplace
- Recent experience working in an acute care or aged care environment
- Ability to work rotating roster
