This pivotal role provides high-level administrative, financial, and governance support to the Director Corporate and Community, helping to drive operational excellence and deliver quality services across the City. Base pay range A$74, / yr - A$98, / yr About the City The City of Nedlands is located 7 km from the Perth CBD and includes a diverse range of features from the beautiful river foreshore of Dalkeith and Nedlands to the crisp white sands of Swanbourne beach. About the Role Reporting to the Director Corporate and Community, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Directorate. Your responsibilities will include managing executive schedules, coordinating council and committee reports, supporting financial processes, and assisting with project tracking and governance activities. Key Responsibilities Manage the Director's diary, emails, meetings, and travel logistics. Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations. Coordinate council reports and ensure compliance with governance standards. Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion. Raise purchase requisitions, process invoices, and reconcile accounts. Support project tracking, reporting, and dashboard compilation. Provide backup support to the CEO's Executive Assistant when required. Assist with internal audits and financial reporting. Liaise with internal teams, Councillors, external stakeholders, and the community. About the Successful Candidate You are a skilled administrator with a talent for coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. You thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and bring a positive, professional attitude to everything you do. Requirements Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative or executive support role. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and coordination skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, document formatting, and financial systems (ideally TechnologyOne and PowerBI). Sound judgement, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities. Current National Police Certificate (issued within the last 3 months). What We Offer This permanent, full-time position offers a salary of A$74,478 – A$98,574 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, plus superannuation.
