SENIOR RETAIL CONSULTANT Company Description A well-established national retail Gold Dealer, with a reputation of customer service and product knowledge is hiring a full time senior retail consultant for their store located in Brisbane CBD. Position Overview An exciting position as a senior retail consultant is waiting for the successful candidate to join our boutique office with full training provided. The position will be based at our Brisbane CBD store, however, travel to our Annerley store may also be required at times. Responsibilities As a Senior Retail Consultant you will be responsible for: Serving customers both walk‑ins and over the phone, buying and selling of precious metals Guiding customers through their experience, building rapport and developing their trust Managing any queries or complaints from customers and, where appropriate, resolving conflicts Conducting manual calculations and using a calculator accurately, and using computer systems, including intermediate Excel skills Performing manual lifting of items varying in size and weight as required Essential Skills Accurate numeracy and mathematics skills. Touch typing and basic computer skills, including familiarity with Excel and Outlook. Retail sales and customer‑service skills. Proactiveness and forward‑thinking attitude. Qualifications Minimum of 2‑3 years experience in managing staff in a retail or customer‑service industry. Strong initiative, autonomy, reliability and punctuality. Confidence to learn new computer systems. Police clearance (essential). Must be over 18 years old. Salary Salary will be based on experience: $35 – $40 per hour. Store Hours The store operates 9:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts required.
