What You’ll Be Doing You’ll work across a broad and diverse portfolio that offers a balance of complex compliance and advisory exposure — ideal for someone looking to take the next step into leadership while strengthening client-facing skills. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and reviewing financial statements, group consolidations, income tax returns, and management reports for companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs. Providing high-quality business and tax advisory services — from restructuring and cashflow management to strategic planning and growth initiatives. Supervising and mentoring junior staff; reviewing their work and supporting their professional development. Managing client relationships and liaising with external advisors to deliver timely, practical solutions. Leveraging systems such as MYOB, Xero, and Excel (experience with Business Fitness or Active Workpapers is highly advantageous). This is a role where you’ll be trusted to take ownership, contribute ideas, and work closely with leaders who value initiative and integrity. What You’ll Bring Experience: 3+ years in Business Services / Advisory within an Australian accounting firm. Mid-tier or Big 4 experience is advantageous, though candidates from quality boutique firms are strongly encouraged to apply. Qualifications: CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion) with a Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent. Technical Strength: Deep understanding of Australian taxation, compliance, and group structuring. Leadership Ability: Comfortable delegating and reviewing work, managing client portfolios, and mentoring junior team members. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable advice. Exposure to industries such as agribusiness, medical, or retail will be well regarded, though not essential.
