Electrical and Instrumentation Commissioning Supervisor Primero is seeking an E&I Supervisor - Commissioning to join our team on a $1 billion EPC Greenfields & Brownfields upgrade of a Gold Processing Plant in Kalgoorlie. Your Key Responsibilities Major project/chemical/gas/mining plant experience in brownfield & greenfield environments. Manage multiple work fronts in terms of manpower and material management. Safely and successfully manage contractors on site to meet project schedules and milestones. Plan and schedule commissioning activities with respect to subsystem/system priority. Prepare commissioning test packs, ITPs and ITRs and ensure completion. Supervise at least a team of 10 trades during the commissioning stage. Work across construction and commissioning sites from energisation to process commissioning. Demonstrate a high level of personal commitment to safety and standard work practices. Perform maintenance, repairs and replacements of fixed plant equipment – rotating & stationary units, troubleshooting critical assets during commissioning. Use tools and engineering techniques to maintain and repair plant machinery. Liaise with inter‑departmental supervisors to give direction and support workers to achieve targets and deadlines. Conduct safety and hazard assessments and enforce OHS compliance. Interpret complex drawings (schematics, SLDs, TLDs, P&IDs) and specifications to determine suitable materials. Inspect and investigate equipment to resolve failures. Cover shifts during various commissioning stages as required. Record and maintain commissioning documentation – observations, testing processes, checklists. Prepare daily shift commissioning activity progress reports. What You Can Do Trade certificate. Instrumentation Certificate 3/4. WA Electrical License. Working At Heights (within 12 months). High Risk License – WP. CPR/LVR. HV Licence 33 kV. At least 5 years of broad‑range commissioning experience in O&G/Mining/Chemical, including planning, workforce management and field commissioning. Proficiency in trade skills, computer skills and relevant completion software applications. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and process evaluation. Excellent communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration and technical advice. Interpersonal skills for coordinating studies, engaging partners and fostering relationships. Adaptability to dynamic environments, independent work and prioritisation. Current driver’s licence. Construction Induction – OHS White Card. Strong perception and implementation of HSE.
