Production Supervisor – Food Manufacturing Location: Broadmeadows, Melbourne VIC Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + super (based on experience) About Us My clientare a nationally recognised manufacturer operating in the Northern Suburbs. Our facility operates at a high pace, particularly during seasonal demand periods, and adheres strictly to HACCP and food safety standards. About the Role Reporting to senior management, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations, leading frontline teams, and ensuring that production targets and compliance requirements are consistently met. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in food, beverage, or any HACCP‑regulated manufacturing environment who thrives in a fast‑paced setting. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production, packaging, and dispatch operations Lead, support, and develop a team of production and warehouse staff across shifts Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet demand and delivery timelines Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with WHS and food safety protocols Uphold HACCP, hygiene, and quality assurance standards across the facility Maintain accurate stock records and oversee monthly inventory counts Assist with equipment troubleshooting and liaise with maintenance as needed Manage staff rostering, timesheets, leave, and performance reviews Participate in audits, reporting, and the implementation of corrective actions Contribute to hands‑on operational support during peak periods as needed Foster a clean, safe, and efficient work environment What You’ll Bring Qualifications Valid Forklift Licence (required) Mechanical aptitude or trade background (advantageous) Experience Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role within food, beverage, or HACCP‑regulated industries Exposure to fast‑paced production and logistics environments Proven ability to lead teams in hands‑on operational settings Skills Strong leadership and communication skills Solid understanding of HACCP, WHS, and Chain of Responsibility requirements Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities Proactive problem‑solver with strong decision‑making ability Comfortable using digital systems for stock control, rostering, and reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr
