About the role As the Production Supervisor, you will report directly to the Production Manager and oversee the high care and low care manufacturing team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure production efficiency while maintaining compliance with our product specifications and food hygiene practices. Key Responsibilities Monitor and enhance production efficiency by analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet production targets. Have a thorough understanding of our product specifications to ensure all processes meet quality standards. Follow established processes and systems to maintain consistency and quality in production. Implement and uphold good food practices and hygiene standards throughout the production area. Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and practices, promoting employee well‑being, and conducting regular safety training. Coordinate with external service providers, including machine technicians, while adhering to our maintenance protocols. Effectively manage production staff and team leaders, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee staff rosters to ensure the execution of production plans and adherence to allocated times, with a focus on minimising overtime wherever possible. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production fermented or cured meat products – significant advantage. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to analyse data and drive improvements in production efficiency.
