Civil construction (Roads) supervisor / Leading hand We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction (Roads) Supervisor / Leading Hand to join our team in Bayswater, VIC. This full-time role will see you overseeing all aspects of road construction projects, from planning and coordination to ensuring safe and efficient site operations. What you’ll be doing Supervise and coordinate construction crews to complete tasks on time and within budget Manage day-to-day site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards Identify and resolve any issues or risks that arise during construction Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior crew members Maintain accurate records and documentation for each project What we’re looking for Proven experience as a Civil Construction Supervisor or Leading Hand, ideally within the road construction industry Excellent project management and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to motivate and lead teams Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment Working knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Civil Construction or equivalent What we offer At Onelec Services, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
