Disability Support Worker – Motor Neuron Disease Join The Support Space in making a real difference. We are looking for compassionate, skilled Disability Support Workers to provide individualised support for people living with Motor Neuron Disease (MND). This role requires a strong background in personal care and a commitment to delivering respectful, high-quality support. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support to participants with MND in their homes and the community. Assist with personal care, showering, grooming, toileting, and dressing with dignity and respect. Support participants in community engagement and meaningful recreational activities. Assist with domestic duties such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry. Deliver high-intensity care for participants with complex needs. Transport participants to appointments and social activities. Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and shift documentation. About You Experienced in personal care and supporting people with complex needs. Compassionate, patient, and committed to empowering people with disabilities. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team. Reliable, flexible, and confident using mobile apps for communication and documentation. Available for flexible shifts across a 24-hour roster, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and public holidays. Requirements Current WA driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle. National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months). NDIS Worker Screening Check. Working with Children Check. Eligibility to work in Australia. Located within 40 km of Eaton.
