Technology Finance Manager Job No: Sydney - Inner Suburbs & CBD Brisbane - Inner Suburbs & CBD Permanent Full Time Finance & Treasury Pay Band 6 About the Role As Manager Technology Finance & Analytics you’ll lead financial business partnering for Technology & Operations delivering insights that drive performance and strategy closely with senior leaders and contribute to enterprise-wide financial planning and analysis. What You’ll Do Actively contribute as the Finance Business Partner to T&O EGMs and be responsible for assisting them with their overall performance (actuals, budget and forecasts) and assisting with modelling and financial advice with respect to business decisions. Lead the timely and accurate close of T&O monthly results. Lead and coordinate regular expense forecasts and annual planning. Responsible for T&O workforce model. Deliver management information including insightful commentary on operating expenses, capital expenditure and FTEs in an efficient and effective manner. Leading T&O consolidated reporting and preparing analysis and commentary for CIO. Provide proactive financial advice to the Technology & Operations teams to facilitate informed decisions. Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency of BAU activities in order to unlock further capacity during peak periods. Be an active member of the Finance & Advice Community contributing to the attainment of the team’s objectives and plans. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in financial performance business partnering or analysis roles. Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate data into strategic insights. Expertise in stakeholder management and building trusted relationships. Experience leading and coaching analysts in a finance function. Proficiency in finance systems; Power BI knowledge is a plus. Degree in Finance Accounting or equivalent; CPA / CA qualifications desirable.
