WHS Advisor – 18 month project – Melbourne based 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday $70 per hour Melbourne based – drive in/out NO FIFO 18 month contract Commercial construction project Must have structural and demolition experience – applicants without this will not be considered About the Company A leading player in the commercial construction space, this company delivers high-quality projects across sectors such as retail, education, and residential developments. Known for their end‑to‑end project delivery, they manage everything from design and planning through to construction and fit‑out. With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and client satisfaction, they have built a reputation for reliability and performance in complex, fast‑paced environments. About the Role The HSE Advisor will ensure corporate and legislative OH&S compliance and corporate quality standards as well as working with site teams and contractors to ensure standards are met. The role will be on site, including flexible working arrangements (Mon‑Fri with some Saturday work) over an 18‑month contract. Duties Provision of input into lessons learned and continuous improvement. Providing environmental, safety, and occupational health support, assistance, and guidance to the Service Teams on a daily basis, and the wider business as required. Implementing the requirements of the Service Site EHS plan and company procedures at the site level. Monitoring compliance with company procedures and key performance indicators through inspections, audits, and reviews. Preparation of EHS reporting to ensure internal and external compliance for service sites on performance and opportunities for improvement. Supporting the company with monitoring and reporting on adherence to the company and Customer quality requirements for Service sites. Conducting analysis and reports on changes to relevant EHS State and Federal laws and regulations and providing advice and support on subsequent changes for internal standards. Management of post‑incident and incident investigation in accordance with Site EHS Plans and legislative requirements. Maintenance of EHS and Quality records including risk and aspect registers. To be successful you will need to have the below requirements A Cert IV in WHS or equivalent Level Qualification Structural and Demolition experience – residential experience will not be considered Experience with Hammertech / 1 breadcrumb / Procore Solid site‑based HSE experience preferably within commercial construction Solid knowledge of QHSE processes and relevant Australian safety legislation A current unrestricted Australian Driver’s License with the ability to travel to site as required APPLY NOW Please email an updated resume to ***********@acrworld.com or contact *** for a confidential chat.
