Senior Work Health & Safety (WHS) Advisor Jandakot, Perth WA Health, Safety & Environment (Manufacturing & Operations) Full time $90,000 – $100,000 per year Aquatic Leisure Technologies (ALT) is Western Australia's largest and most established fibreglass pool manufacturer. We are now seeking a Senior Work Health & Safety (WHS) Advisor — a trusted specialist who will strengthen governance, build capability, and lead WHS maturity across our manufacturing, installations, transport, and field operations. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with senior operational leaders, you’ll provide high-level WHS leadership across our Jandakot manufacturing facility, installation teams, transport operations, and associated sites. This is a senior specialist role that combines hands‑on presence with system uplift, governance, and capability building. Key Responsibilities Lead complex incident investigations (including notifiable incidents) and ensure corrective actions are effective. Oversee high‑risk task assessments, critical risk controls, and WHS risk governance. Strengthen ALT’s WHS systems, processes, and practical frameworks. Conduct inspections, behavioural observations, and verification‑of‑controls across multiple operational environments. Lead WHS reporting, dashboards, trend analysis and senior leadership insights. Build WHS capability in leaders through coaching, consultation and structured training. Oversee contractor WHS management including competency checks, SWMS review and on‑site assurance. Lead emergency management planning, drills, and operational readiness. Support management of psychosocial risks in line with WA legislation and code of practice. Champion ALT’s safety‑first culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives. What You’ll Bring Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Work Health & Safety (mandatory). Bachelor degree in WHS, OHS, Risk or related discipline (highly desirable). ICAM or equivalent investigation training (desirable). Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (an advantage). 5+ years WHS advisory experience , including senior‑level exposure. Experience in manufacturing, construction, logistics, installations or other high‑risk settings. Strong capability in investigations, risk control and WHS governance. Confident communicator who builds trust with both leaders and frontline teams. Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into meaningful action. White Card and C Class Driver’s Licence required. Experience using WHS systems or digital reporting platforms.
