We offer on‑going training to ensure you are confident and comfortable with the Sample Preparation process. Key Responsibilities Prepare mining samples for laboratory testing according to strict safety procedures. Handle mining samples – sorting, weighing, crushing, and milling. Ensure all samples are handled with accuracy and consistency. Work efficiently to meet deadlines and laboratory requirements. Operate specialised machines – Robotic Crush Cells, Pulverisers and Robotic Mill Cells. What we expect Experience in a physically demanding role, preferably in mining or industrial environments. Experience working a rotational shift roster – e.g., 12‑hour shifts. Physically fit and capable of lifting, moving, and handling heavy materials – e.g., 15 kg sample bags. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction precisely. Demonstrated high focus on quality and safety. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, independently and as part of a team. Can follow set procedures and have a good attention to detail. Shift Options Two rotating roster options available. Canning Vale Sites (Gauge Circuit & Sorbonne Crescent) 24/7 rotating roster – Monday – Sunday, 12‑hour shifts: Day (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) / Night (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM). 24/5 rotating roster – Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour shifts: Day (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM), Afternoon (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM), Night (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM). Eligibility Full availability across all shifts. Must be able to wear all required PPE, including a respirator, and remain clean‑shaven. Must have work rights in Australia. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a group interview, including comprehension, numerical and literacy tests, and a full medical, drug and alcohol assessment.
