The Opportunity As the Sample Preparation officer at HRL, you will be supporting various teams within the business. These could include the Combustion Team, Waste to Energy Team, and others with preparation of samples. Due to successfully securing several new projects, the need for additional support in these areas of the business has opened the opportunity for a reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic person to join the team. Key Responsibilities: Maintain a high standard of housekeeping Undertake preparation of various materials onsite in our head office in Mulgrave Perform maintenance and/or safety checks on equipment as required Ability to work independently, unsupervised, and also as part of a project team, to deliver onsite services and work within specified codes and compliance standards You will have: An interest in science and/or the environment, qualifications not essential An energetic and flexible approach and a solid work ethic, committed to achieving the best outcomes for you, the business and the client High commitment to safety An ability to undertake sample preparation and be physically fit for the task The role involves some manual handling and which you will need to be physically fit for these tasks Ability to work autonomously or a part of a team, sharing knowledge and information An ability to use Microsoft Outlook for emails Effective time-management and problem-solving capabilities A valid Australian Driver's Licence Current legal working rights in Australia What We Offer: An opportunity to be part of a collaborative and dynamic team of industry experts.
