Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA) is the authorised supplier of Cat® power systems in Australia, PNG, and the Solomon Islands. As a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, EPSA provides new and used engines, generators, and hybrid energy systems for a broad range of industries. We also specialise in rental solutions for power generators, compressors, and temperature control systems. We’re searching for a Procurement Lead who can think big and act fast. This role demands someone who combines strategic vision with practical execution—able to design frameworks and policies while also getting into the detail to deliver real outcomes. You’ll navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders through results, and bring clarity where processes are evolving. If you thrive on balancing planning with doing, and you’re ready to make an impact in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, and bring fresh ideas to the table. Based in Mulgrave (VIC), you’ll be a key player in our Finance & Commercial team, shaping the way EPSA sources, partners, and delivers value. What you’ll do: Champion EPSA’s procurement uplift strategy: bring fresh ideas, drive change, and help us set new standards. Build and refine policies for strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationships. Standardise and optimise procurement processes, making life easier for our teams and partners. Ensure compliance and deliver training, keeping everyone aligned and informed. Lead the charge on social and sustainable procurement, including modern slavery and regulatory initiatives. Provide expert advice on tenders, negotiations, supplier management, and dispute resolution. Identify, negotiate, and secure high‑quality, cost‑effective outcomes for EPSA. Manage supplier onboarding and accreditation, ensuring our partners meet our high standards. Harness data and analytics to drive continuous improvement and uncover cost‑saving opportunities. What you’ll bring: A degree in Business, Procurement, or a related field, backed by hands‑on experience. Commercial acumen and a knack for risk assessment and mitigation. Negotiation skills that get results plus the ability to listen, influence, and build consensus. Analytical thinking and a passion for process improvement. Stakeholder management expertise, with clear and confident communication at every level. Experience with ERP systems and data‑driven procurement strategies. A track record of delivering procurement change and uplift programmes. End to end procurement experience, ideally in infrastructure, engineering, or construction. Benefits & Perks: Seamless Onboarding Experience: Start strong with our centralised induction programme at our Mulgrave (VIC) head office, designed to set you up for success. Celebrate You: Enjoy paid leave on your birthday and take time to give back with volunteer leave. Exclusive Discounts: Access a wide range of retail discounts, plus special pricing on CAT® merchandise and health insurance. Drive Your Way: Take advantage of our vehicle novated lease options to make your commute more rewarding. Support for Families: We offer paid parental leave to support you during life’s most important moments. Refer & Be Rewarded: Earn generous rewards through our team member referral programme. Grow with Us: Upskill with job‑relevant education support, including access to Cat® University and other learning & development opportunities. Recognition Matters: Be celebrated through our Employee Recognition Programme and Service Awards. Wellbeing First: Access confidential support anytime through our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
