The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Tableau Developer to join our dynamic team based in Newcastle, New South Wales. As an Intermediate Tableau Developer at ACM, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing management reporting across the organisation.

The successful candidate will utilise Tableau to transform SAP financial data and other key performance indicators (KPIs) into actionable insights, focusing on digital subscribers, print copy sales, paper usage, and advertising percentages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Integration: Work closely with the IT and data teams to integrate SAP financial data and other relevant data sources into Tableau for reporting purposes.
  • KPI Analysis: Analyse and visualise key performance indicators related to digital subscribers, print copy sales, paper usage, and advertising percentages.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and proactively identify opportunities to enhance and optimise reporting processes.
  • Data Accuracy and Quality: Ensure the accuracy and quality of data used in Tableau dashboards, implementing best practices for data visualisation and reporting.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Tableau Developer, with intermediate-level expertise.
  • Strong understanding of SAP financial data and experience in integrating SAP data into Tableau.
  • Solid experience in developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
