We’re seeking a motivated research analyst to join our team and grow into a key role in supporting the insights team for one of Australia’s most iconic brands. You would be expected to meet in our client’s Port Melbourne office once a week. Apart from that, you can work from home or our Melbourne CBD office as long as the client is happy and the work gets done. Access to an annual training fund for any program that would benefit your work. Four weeks of annual leave plus an extended shutdown over the Christmas/New Year break. Competitive base salary with a clear, achievable bonus structure agreed upon in advance of the year. Ideal Candidate Traits Positive attitude, works well in a team and autonomously. Open to feedback, while not afraid to provide your own opinion. Personable and empathetic – client‑focused with the ability to build meaningful relationships. Inquisitive, with a critical mind for analysis and a desire to find the right answer, not just the fastest one. Excellent eye for detail – strong attention to formatting and spotting errors. Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree (or nearing graduation) in an analytical field – e.g., Economics, Psychology, Commerce. An Honours degree is preferred. Strong numerical skills and academic training in statistical concepts. Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and pivot tables. Competence with PowerPoint, able to create visually engaging reports with an eye for detail and formatting. Experience with statistical software (SPSS, Q, R) is desirable, as is familiarity with questionnaire scripting tools (Qualtrics) or coding languages (Python, R).
