Trainer and Assessor – Community Services / Individual Support Global Business College of Australia – Melbourne VIC Global Business College of Australia (GBCA) is a nationally recognized training organization and VET training provider based in Melbourne CBD. We offer a diverse range of short courses and higher qualifications to both international and domestic students. Currently, we are seeking enthusiastic trainers and assessors to join our dynamic team to deliver training and assessment for the following courses: CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support Requirements Hold a Diploma of Community Services / Certificate III in Individual Support (or above) in the relevant area of application. Possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40116. Demonstrate current industry experience of 3 years after obtaining your vocational qualification. Maintain currency in the community services (Aged Care / Nursing Home) and demonstrate a comprehensive current knowledge of the industry and job roles and strong understanding of current trends and diversity within the industry. Be proficient in managing teaching materials, setting up assessments, and updating marking on Moodle. Familiarity with delivering online training via Zoom is advantageous. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills. Show care and tolerance towards disadvantage and mature-aged students. Positive survey results and student feedback from previous employers will be considered a valuable asset. Flexibility to deliver training in classroom settings, through Zoom, and in workplace settings, including workplace visits. Experience in arranging and monitoring work placement program. Proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environment and a multicultural working environment. Provide feedback in relation to course materials in accordance with training packaging rules and industry practices. Possess knowledge, understanding, and commitment to the Standards for Registered Training Organizations (RTOs) 2015 and the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Availability to deliver evening classes on Zoom is an advantage. Responsibilities Delivering high-quality training and assessment in various settings, including face to face, virtual real-time learning support through Zoom and workplace training. Marking assessments on Moodle. Collaborating closely with our student support team. Maintaining compliant records, including attendance, assessment records, and workplace visit logs (if applicable). Contributing to the ongoing improvement of training and assessment materials, participating in regular assessment validations, and networking within the industry.
