As our Technical Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the evolution of Galaxy - our “comparison as a service” platform. Working closely with Delivery Leads, Engineering Managers, and a high-performing engineering team, you’ll bridge business strategy and technical execution. In this role, you will: Help shape and maintain the product backlog for Galaxy, translating business objectives and technical requirements into actionable deliverables. Collaborate with engineers and architects to inform technical solutions, participate in architectural reviews, and support migration and integration strategies. Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and shared understanding of priorities Guide the team alongside Delivery Leads and Engineering Managers through sprint planning, execution, and review, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and align with our technology roadmap Champion Agile best practices, monitor key delivery metrics (such as DORA, feature adoption, and post-release issues), and foster a culture of continuous improvement. About you: Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, ideally in a technical or platform environment. Comfortable working alongside engineers, Delivery Leads, and Engineering Managers, and able to engage in technical discussions about architecture and migration. Solid understanding of software development and Agile methodologies; experience working with cross-functional engineering teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to clearly translate business needs into technical requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes. Skilled at fostering collaboration and alignment across multiple teams and functions. Experience with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps is highly regarded.
