About the role:
Maintain and implement STO's Risk Management Framework and Strategy and Appetite.Monitor key material risks, controls, and indicators for each fund.Conduct regular and ad hoc Fund risk reviews to identify emerging risks.Improve Risk Culture through continuous learning in risk management.Escalate out-of-tolerance outcomes from annual Business Performance Reviews.Review the effectiveness of Risk Management and Strategic Planning Frameworks annually.Contribute to audits, projects, and prepare stakeholder reports.
What you'll need to succeed:
Previous experience in line 1 or line 2 risk role in superannuationExcellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skillsAbility to prepare high-quality written reports for presentation to senior stakeholdersWell-developed mathematic skillsTertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Law or related field.
