About the role This role combines hands‑on fire systems work with leading a small site team. Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire detection systems Programming and fault‑finding fire panels (Ampac, Pertronic, Notifier) Reading plans, managing job progress, and reporting to project supervisors Coordinating trades and sequencing to keep projects running smoothly Ensuring quality control and compliance with relevant Australian Standards Leading by example in safety, punctuality, documentation, and communication About you You’re an experienced Fire Technician ready to step into a leadership role, or already working in one, and looking for a team that values your input. A QLD Electrical Licence or QBCC Fire Occupational Licence Proven experience leading or coordinating teams on‑site Deep understanding of fire detection systems and programming (Ampac, Pertronic, Notifier) Ability to read and interpret project documentation and manage day‑to‑day delivery Strong communication and coordination skills to keep jobs running smoothly Confidence mentoring apprentices and less experienced trades A methodical approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and compliance A current manual driver’s licence, White Card, and EWP ticket What we offer Fully equipped vehicle – Ute, fuel card, and all required tools Tablet, Email & Platform access – iPad with data and simPRO access Leadership opportunity – Work closely with project supervisors and directors Diverse projects – Healthcare, education, commercial, social housing Team environment – A practical and supportive crew with shared values #J-18808-Ljbffr
