Refinery Operator Bendigo Advertiser – Rutherford, NSW Type: Permanent, Full‑Time Roster: 28‑day cycle, 12‑hour continuous shifts; 5 on/5 off, 4 on/5 off, 5 on/4 off. Job Details Shift: 12‑hour continuous, 28‑day roster (varied patterns) Location: Rutherford, NSW Pay: $48.89 per hour (flat rate) Uniforms & PPE provided Responsibilities Efficient operation and monitoring of used lubrication oil refinery Loading and unloading of trucks and transferring of bulk oil products Conduct sample analysis Diagnose faults in plant and equipment Maintain efficient plant operations and a safe, clean work site Qualifications & Skills Great attitude with willingness to learn Operate and monitor refinery processes and raw materials Start up and shut down processes of refinery and pretreatment operations Complete paperwork, data entry, records, issue work permits Proficient in Maths and English Mechanical aptitude Pass pre‑employment medical and drug test Experience with chemical handling (highly regarded) Forklift licence (advantageous) Benefits Employee share program Company discounts Salary packaging Flu vaccinations EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Discounts on private health insurance EEO Statement We are dedicated to improving employment outcomes and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
