Food Services Assistant Employment Type: Permanent Part-timeLocation: Mercy Place Mandurah, WAContact: Simone Baxter | As a Food Service Assistant at Mercy Health Australia, you will create cherished moments each day by providing quality client-focused care to residents, their families and carers. You will maintain a holistic approach, respect individual preferences, and uphold the values of Mercy Health in all activities. Responsibilities Provide quality client-focused care to residents, their family and carers, using a holistic approach. Maintain knowledge of food safety guidelines and completion of a food handler's course. Retain individual preferences and dietary requirements of residents. Incorporate the values of Mercy Health into daily practices. Assist with delivery of food services to residents and preparation of meals as required. Follow the food safety plan at all times. What you bring Consistently shows respect and values each person's dignity. Has a compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management. Nurtures friendly, respectful relationships and contributes to a collaborative team environment. Communicates and operates openly and honestly as an effective team member. Experience working in an aged care setting. Is customer-focused. Evidence / Certifications National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance. A current Police Record Check (If available). Appropriate Food Safety certification.
