Business Relationship Director | Bendigo As the Business Relationship Director within the Bendigo region, you will work across the local market, partnering with a niche portfolio of large commercial customers with complex and evolving needs, to provide tailored services that will enable your clients to succeed. Responsibilities Manage a high‑stakes commercial lending portfolio, overseeing a niche client portfolio with individual needs exceeding $10 million TAE. Be the senior face of Bendigo Bank in the community, developing and implementing targeted strategies to elevate the bank’s profile and forge strong relationships with local businesses and community leaders. Engage clients in insightful conversations, crafting bespoke financial solutions that address their unique needs. Actively seek and secure new clients, cultivating deep, lasting relationships that become the bedrock of your success. Identify and spearhead initiatives that propel growth in the local region, turning ideas into actions and outcomes. Partner with respected introducers and internal teams—including Corporate and Community Bank Branches, enterprise leaders, business support teams, and the Credit Risk team—to amplify impact. Collaborate with internal networks, leveraging their expertise to deliver integrated solutions. Qualifications A tertiary qualification in business, finance or a related discipline. Ability to undertake travel and possession of a current driver’s licence. Deep expertise in complex business lending and credit risk principles. Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret financial statements. Up‑to‑date knowledge of business banking market conditions, products, cash flows and markets.
