We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our team at our Rowville site. You'll play a key role in developing new products, enhancing existing ones, and driving continuous improvement—all while upholding our high standards for food safety, quality, and innovation. About the Role Reporting to the GM – Operations + Supply Chain, you will oversee the performance, safety, and continuous improvement of the manufacturing site. You'll lead the site teams, embed best‑practice processes, and strengthen the systems and behaviours needed for ongoing growth. This role requires strong food manufacturing experience and the ability to connect strategic planning with practical, reliable operational execution. Key Responsibilities Lead production, maintenance and warehousing teams Increase manufacturing efficiency using KPIs, OEE insights, MEX and lean practices Implement and sustain a preventative maintenance program that improves reliability and reduces downtime Optimise labour, workflow, scheduling and production planning Partner with the Quality Manager to maintain operational discipline around HACCP, BRC and audit readiness Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality and productivity Build frontline leader capability and embed behavioural safety, accountability and team engagement Translate strategic plans into clear operational outcomes Lead collaboration with stakeholders and trades on site upgrades and Capex projects Qualifications Extensive experience in food or beverage manufacturing Demonstrated leadership across multi‑site operations Strong capability in production efficiency and lean methodologies Experience establishing or improving preventative maintenance systems (MEX or similar) Solid understanding of HACCP/BRC and food safety compliance Commercial acumen and budget management capability Strong communication, influence and stakeholder management skills A calm, steady leadership style with a focus on capability building and continuous improvement Able to connect strategic direction with day‑to‑day execution Benefits Competitive Salary on Offer Onsite parking Access to I Am Here – our mental health and wellbeing initiative Onsite physio $25 monthly voucher to spend at our onsite retail store Rite Bite Group is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees can make it better together and have an equal opportunity to succeed.
