The business produces a variety of FMCG food products and is known for its focus on quality, innovation, and operational excellence. The Position We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join the site leadership team in the SE suburbs of Melbourne. You will be responsible for overseeing production, warehouse, maintenance, and capital projects, ensuring the business delivers on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people objectives. This is a hands‑on, strategic leadership role where you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage operational performance, support new product development, and lead a diverse team across multiple areas. The role provides an excellent opportunity to have a direct impact on the efficiency, growth, and success of the site. Skills and Experience At least 5 years in a leadership role with a focus on continuous improvement Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG food manufacturing, with knowledge of Lean principles Strong understanding of quality systems, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards Proven ability to manage and develop teams, coaching for performance and engagement Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the business Experience managing production, warehouse, maintenance, and capital projects Benefits Opportunity to join a well‑respected, dynamic food manufacturing organisation Hands‑on role with strategic leadership responsibilities Chance to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement Lead and develop a skilled, multi‑disciplinary team in a fast‑paced environment.
