As Category Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, partnering with major retailers, and unlocking growth across a high‑performing portfolio. Responsibilities Lead the development of insight‑led category strategies that drive volume, value and market share. Build strong partnerships with major retailers through compelling storytelling and data‑driven recommendations. Manage and deliver range reviews, securing improved distribution, shelf presence and category visibility. Translate shopper, consumer and market insights into clear commercial opportunities. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue and Insights teams to influence pricing, promos and joint business planning. Guide and support a Category Analyst, ensuring high‑quality reporting and category performance tracking. Champion continuous improvement and contribute to a high‑performance commercial culture. Experience Necessary Solid experience in Category Management within FMCG or retail. Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and confidence across retail scan/data platforms. Ability to turn complex data into simple, compelling insights and customer narratives. Experience influencing cross‑functional teams and key retail partners. Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and commercial acumen. A passion for shopper behaviour, trends, pricing, and strategy.
