Laminex is seeking an experienced and dynamic Category Development Manager to drive the growth of our Walls & Ceilings category, a key platform for our business expansion. Reporting to our National Category Marketing Manager and based in Melbourne, your key responsibilities will include: Lead end-to-end category marketing strategies aligned with business goals and customer insights. Lead GTM (go-to-market) strategies, product development and portfolio management. Drive new product development from ideation to market launch. Guide and direct the business and help build internal understanding on how to win in Walls (and Ceilings), including new business models, ways of working and supporting the establishment of new distribution channels. Support building Sales knowledge and capability around spec pipeline and fit for purpose application for the current offer. Deliver compelling marketing communications that influence buying decisions. Leverage data and market intelligence to guide strategy and uncover new opportunities. Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability building. What We’re Looking For Minimum 10 years’ experience in leadership marketing or sales management, with a focus on category, portfolio, and product development. Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies within the wall panels or ceilings category with established networks and relationships. Strong commercial and business acumen, with a focus on value creation and profitability. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
