$105,207 to $133,086 pa + 11% employer contribution to superannuation
Plus 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance in addition to your Base Salary
Plus a fully maintained vehicle with access to private use under AlburyCity's Leaseback Program.

THE POSITION:
To manage all aspects of Albury's water and wastewater strategic planning, capital project development and delivery, data analysis and quality systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide oversight of the Cluster's Systems Optimisation, Strategy Development and Technical Services functions.
- Assist with the development and implementation of strategic and business plans including Integrated Water Cycle Management (IWCM) to effectively manage AlburyCity's water and wastewater supply.
- Scope, plan and deliver AlburyCity's Water and Wastewater Strategies.
- Lead and manage the team including; performance management, training & development, workflow coordination, workforce planning and developing a high level of morale and harmony.
- Undertake engineering investigations and prepare project briefs for the design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Complete business and financial plans of the water and wastewater supply businesses including budget preparation, return on investment, access and usage charges, metering and customer accounts.
- Develop, implement and maintain appropriate water and wastewater reporting, data aggregation and analytical processes.
- Develop and implement educational programs for water conservation and efficiency initiatives.
- Monitor and report on potential improvements to water and wastewater quality within the reticulation systems.
- Develop a program for investigation of system efficiencies and develop improvement strategies.
- Contribute to the effective management and operation of water re-use efficiencies.
- Manage contracts including the preparation of specifications, tender analysis, monitoring, review and administration.
- Project manage capital works programs.
- Ensure completion of all relevant statutory and compliance returns as necessary.
- Perform other tasks or duties as directed by the Supervisor which are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training.
- Observe requirements of the WHS Legislation, relevant to the job and adhere to AlburyCity Policies and Procedures regarding WHS.
- Observe appropriate AlburyCity Policies and Procedures regarding day to day operations including Equal Employment Opportunity policies, AlburyCity's Dress Code and Standards Policy and AlburyCity's Code of Conduct.
